This started as a simple decision to be available.
Over time, I have seen how many people carry things alone. Some of it is personal. Some of it comes from responsibility. Most people do not say much about it, but it is there.
My foundation is in Christ. That shapes how I see people and how I try to show up for them. This is open to anyone.
I am not trying to present myself as an expert or build something polished.
If someone reaches out, I listen. I speak honestly. I take people seriously.
Chaplaincy, to me, is about presence. It is about being steady and not rushing past what someone is dealing with.
I am an ordained chaplain and a member of the National Association of Christian Ministers.
I am also ordained through the Christian Leaders Alliance and currently studying chaplaincy through Christian Leaders College.
I hold an MBA with a focus on leadership and an undergraduate degree in leadership development.
Those things have shaped me, but they are not the main point.
I have spent years in leadership roles.
I understand pressure and responsibility. I also understand how easy it is for people to feel overlooked or alone, even when they are surrounded by others.
I do not see leadership as a position. I see it as a responsibility to care for people and make decisions that affect them in real ways.
This is a way of giving back.
Nothing more than that.
If it helps people, then it is doing what it is meant to do.
